How to use Curationist

Introduction to Curationist and How it Works

Here is an in depth look at our website from our platform director, Amanda Figueroa.

Making a Curationist Account

An account allows you to create and share collections. It is free and takes just a couple of minutes to set up.

Making and Sharing Collections

Gather works from the archive and curate collections for yourself or share with your colleagues, students or friends.

Suggesting Metadata Changes

Curationist archivists add layers of metadata to chosen Works in our collection. We never change the metadata coming from the originating institution, but we sometimes add additional information. Do you see something that you think needs updating? Send us an email with the Work’s URL with the information you want to see added. Be sure to include the URL of the Work you are referring to. Once your suggestion is verified to be accurate and appropriate, we will add it to the metadata of that work and credit you (with your permission).
