Seascape sketches showing eleven views of icebergs at sea off the northeast coast of Newfoundland island in Canada, organized roughly into three rows. In the top row, two sloped icebergs float close to one another at upper left while two sketches of the same berg are shown at upper right, one completed in white gouache. Three other icebergs are organized in a row below these, the one at far right highlighted in white gouache. Two other rugged are visible at center, while at lower left, two fragmented icebergs face one another, and at lower right, a large, precipitous iceberg with a sheer edge is shown.
