The Brooklyn Museum is a private, nonprofit cultural institution in Brooklyn, New York. It holds one of the world's largest collections of art across time periods and geographic origins. Its collections include tens of thousands of global art objects, from Egyptian archeology to contemporary American art. The museum has a particularly strong collection of women’s and feminist art, through the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art.
