Descripción de objeto de CurationistA large ceramic vessel painted with a white slip is incised with a dynamic supernatural scene from the ancient Maya. It is assumed that this vessel held drinking chocolate for individuals to immerse their cups into. A harmony of glyphs and royal and deified figures gives the vessel a sense of animation to help elevate the mystical status of its owner.
