(1814 - 1891) was a Swedish painter and illustrator. She painted portraits, genres, and folklife. She was praised for her observation skills and became one of the portrait painters most hired in Stockholm.
She was the first Swedish woman to be awarded a scholarship to study art abroad. She travelled to Paris, Munich, Rome, and other places across Europe, which enriched her art and exposed her to art styles across the continent. Italian Mother with a Child
